Zarlasht’s interest in immigration law was first ignited during her Master of Legal Practice, where she chose it as an elective and quickly became drawn to the complexity and human impact of the field. She began her career in immigration law as a paralegal in February 2022 and qualified as a solicitor in June 2024.
In January 2025, she joined Westkin Law as an assistant solicitor in Bethannie Cooper’s team. Since joining the firm, she has gained valuable experience across a wide range of immigration categories, deepening her practical knowledge and broadening her expertise. In addition to English, she is fluent in Dari and Hindi, which allows her to connect more effectively with a diverse client base
