Westkin Associates – Why I work at Westkin – Staff Profile
Tell us about yourself and your job:
“My name is Adel, I work in the new client team at Westkin, I’ve been here four around 4 years now.
My job is to speak to people when they initially contact the firm to help work out how we can best help them. So I spend most of my day speaking to people which is something I enjoy.
Once I have worked out the solution I co-ordinate with the best caseworker for the job to ensure the client has the smoothest and best experience from the day they call us to the day they get their visa”
It’s really a rewarding job, I get to speak to so many inspiring people on a daily basis, coming from an Immigrant family it is important to remember the sacrifices that our parents made for us.”
What’s the best thing about working at Westkin?
“Well apart from being a really nice working environment, there is a good mix of young and more experience staff, as well as the ambition to be the best immigration firm in the UK, I would say its the general vibe in the office, it’s a place where you can be yourself and focus on advancing your career, that is what drew me to working here when I started all those years ago.
On the superficial side, working in Mayfair is always fun, plus our new offices in Maddox street are really nice, it’s been a source of pride for us all since we moved in.
If I’m being totally honest, I really like that our boss buys us all breakfast everyday!”
Breakfast you say, what’s your ideal breakfast?
“I would say, Fruit Loops serial with milk, followed by a cappuccino.
Fruit Loops are hard to find in the UK, so anyone that knows where I can buy some in London please let me know so I can add it to our (Westkin’s) shopping list.”
Interesting fact about yourself?
“Although I have a slight fear of flying. I actually love everything to do with airplanes, my colleagues sometimes test me to see if if can tell them the exact make and model of a plane in the sky, although I’m not sure if they would ever know if I got it wrong anyway!”
Apart from that I speak Arabic so I tend to speak with most Arab speaking clients, this helps me keep my language skills sharp which my parents appreciate.”
Thanks Adel, any message to the readers?
“Please do not ask for the Fruit Loops guy when you call. I’m just joking, I wouldn’t mind”
Westkin Invites you to call Adel and the rest of our team, we look forward to assisting you in your Immigration matter.
