Mayfair, the place to be.

Westkin Associates – Mayfair, the place to be.

What and where is Mayfair?

Apart from being the most sought after and expensive property on the UK version of Monopoly, Mayfair is technically a district of the borough of Westminster in Central London.

The four corners of the district run from Hyde Park to Regent Street, then down to Piccadilly and Park Lane.

The name Mayfair comes from the annual “May Fair” that was held in the area between 1686 to 1764

Today Mayfair is the heart of London’s world famous shopping, restaurant scene as well as the headquarters for may international business. It is also the most expensive place in the world for office space on a per desk basis.

Why did Westkin choose Mayfair?

The location for us is key because it reflects our ideals and the ethos of the company. Firstly Mayfair is the place to be for world class services of all kind, ranging from tailors in Savile Row, to Financial Advisers in St James Square. So naturally there is only one place to be for a law firm that aims to be the best Immigration firm in the UK.

Secondly the experience for clients is very important to us, many big law firms tend to have offices in the opposite side of the West End known as the “the City”, however this tends to be because the majority of their clients are other business or institutions, as such because Westkin focuses on Individuals clients just as much as working with companies, Mayfair is by all standards a much more suitable location. In fact many client remark that they find going to meetings in “the City” as intimidating, preferring the familiarity of places like Oxford Street, Regent Street and Picadilly, which are all within Mayfair.

Client’s that come and see us from afar such as outside of London also greatly appreciate how easy it is to get to us and that they are able to explore the famous parts of London, do a spot of shopping and have some nice food before they head home.

What do we recommend to do in Mayfair?

For clients whom are visiting us at our Mayfair offices in Maddox street there are plenty of things that they can do, eat or see each time they visit us. Firstly world famous shopping can be done in Oxford street and Regent Street. There are hundreds of amazing restaurants in Mayfair so please ask us for a recommendation when you see us. Mayfair is also a short walk from other iconic districts such as Soho (great for food and culture) or Covent Garden (great sights and entertainment).

If you fancy chilling out, Mayfair has many green squares, including Hanover Square, St James Square and many more, here you will find people relaxing on their lunch breaks or from a spot of shopping, particularly on a nice sunny day. Find a place to sit on the grass and enjoy a spot of tranquillity in the heart of London.

Westkin welcomes clients from all over the UK and the World to our Mayfair offices at 5th Floor Maddox House, 1 Maddox Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 2PZ.
